midPoint Basics Training: Join Us Dec 7-10

midPoint (opens in a new window), the newest addition to the InCommon Trusted Access Platform (opens in a new window), is a general-purpose identity management and governance system that can synchronize and reconcile among multiple systems of record and sources of identity. It can also provision and de-provision user accounts and groups into services.

Join us for the midPoint virtual training workshop (opens in a new window) from December 7 – 10, 2021. We’ll cover the basics of midPoint, including installation and configuration, as well as tips on configuring resources and creating organizational structures. midPoint workshop participants will learn:
- how to install and configure midPoint in a Docker container
- the association between accounts and entitlements
- how to configure resources
- how to create organizational structures
- how to integrate Grouper (opens in a new window) with midPoint (opens in a new window) via messaging
- how to map and maintain role definitions in cooperation with Grouper
