Internet2 is excited to release the Fall and Winter 2024 Cloud Learning and Skills Sessions (CLASS) lineup, specifically designed to support the needs of research and higher education professionals (R&E) who leverage cyberinfrastructure as part of their work. 

Our training courses this fall focus on topics ranging from cloud basics to help you get started, generative artificial intelligence, cyber security, orchestration, and more. All courses are priced to be inclusive and are led by experienced knowledgeable instructors with experience supporting R&E.

Here is a look at upcoming CLASS courses you don’t want to miss:

AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification Training

Dates: August 26, 2024 – October 11, 2024
Instructor: Sharif Nijim

Dive deep into cloud computing on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with this nine-week course perfect for those looking to become certified AWS Solutions Architects. Expect to dedicate 5-7 hours weekly and participate in weekly virtual check-in sessions and hands-on labs. Enhance your ability to architect and manage cloud infrastructure effectively.

Google Cloud Administrator Basic Training

Date: December 9, 2024, at the Internet2 Technology Exchange (In person training)

Time: 9 a.m. EST – 12 p.m. EST

This training session is designed to enhance the skills necessary to manage an institution’s Google Cloud Organization, focusing on a range of administrative responsibilities such as project provisioning, role management, and billing. It addresses the gap in typical learning paths and certifications by covering organizational policies, folder structure, and credit management, among other topics.
