Jennifer brings over 10 years of information technology experience supporting campus cyberinfrastructure. She joins the MS-CC from Montgomery County Community College, where she has held multiple roles since 2014, most recently as an infrastructure engineer. During her tenure, Jennifer enabled Montgomery County Community College’s network infrastructure services, including design, implementation, installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance. She has experience with systems integration, building automation, and managing access control.
Jennifer is a recipient of the 2021 Women in IT Networking at SC (WINS) Award and the 2016 KINBER Inclusivity Scholarship (formerly the Diversity Scholarship). Her volunteer experiences include helping build the SC Conference’s high-speed network, SCinet, for SC21 and SC22. Jennifer is now the chair of the SCinet Edge Network team for SC23.
In addition, Jennifer serves as a member of the EDUCAUSE Young Professionals Advisory Committee (YPAC), which advises the EDUCAUSE president/CEO and is made up of emerging leaders in the EDUCAUSE community.
Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut and certification in computer networking from Montgomery County Community College. Additionally, Jennifer holds Cisco Certified Network Associate and IPv6 certifications.
