“As a new provider in the InCommon Catalyst Program, Vantage Technology Consulting Group is excited to bring our expertise and experience to the community,” said Jacqueline Pitter, CISSP, senior strategic consultant at Vantage Technology Consulting Group, about the company joining ten other catalysts in supporting the research and education community’s identity and access management efforts.
Connecting the Community to Strategies and Solutions
“The program is a valuable resource for higher education institutions looking to improve their identity and access management (IAM) systems,” Pitter continued, “and the Vantage team is strategically well-positioned to guide and facilitate connections to solutions that enable IAM project success.”
Specializing in cybersecurity policies, network modernization, and governance programs, Vantage advises higher education IT leaders on the creation of actionable strategic plans and key technology decisions that support institutional missions.
Participation in the InCommon Catalyst Program builds upon this long standing relationship with the research and higher ed community. According to Jon Young, GSLC, vice president, Vantage Technology Consulting Group, “the program is a valuable opportunity to collaborate with like-minded organizations and contribute to the continued improvement of identity and access management systems in higher education.”
Supporting the Higher Ed Mission
The Vantage team of trusted advisors and thought leaders in higher education IT is dedicated to helping institutions enable and support institutional missions around research and education.
“Our participation in the InCommon Catalyst program will allow us to work closely with institutions to understand their specific challenges and requirements,” Pitter explained. “We look forward to contributing and working with community members through case studies, career development pilots, and other efforts that will support and serve the InCommon community in positive ways.”
Launched in June 2021, the InCommon Catalyst Program assists higher education institutions, research organizations, and sponsored partners in their efforts to enable better security, access to services, and user experience through InCommon’s integrated service and software solutions.
Internet2 is pleased to welcome Vantage Technology Consulting Group to the program as the newest InCommon Catalyst. “We are excited to have Vantage Technology Consulting Group join the Catalysts and contribute to the InCommon community,” said Ann West, associate vice president for trust and identity at Internet2. “The program brings together organizations that specialize in a wide range of IAM support services tailored for the research and higher education community.
