Institutions Discuss Governance
Join us for “You Need Structure: A Panel Discussion with Internet2 NET+ ServiceNow Institutions on Governance” on Wednesday, July 27 at 2 p.m. ET.
It stands to reason that your team cannot be all things to all people at all times. Even so, the various stakeholders on your campus aren’t always reasonable. How do you determine which projects and initiatives should have priority? You need an IT Service Management governance structure. Having a governance structure in place guides and simplifies decision-making and can be a framework used outside of ITSM as well.
During this discussion, you’ll hear from three panelists whose campuses combined have close to two decades of experience leveraging the capabilities of Internet2 NET+ ServiceNow to establish and implement governance structures. These structures inform their institutional policies and resource prioritization while providing a framework for the effective management of stakeholder relationships.
Panelists:
- Mojgan Amini, director, Process Management & Continuous Improvement, University of California, San Diego
- Katie Rose, senior director for IT strategy, Planning & Architecture, Notre Dame University
- Yaron Inbar, director, Service Management Process & Data Strategy, Princeton University
Moderator:
- Mitchell Pautz, senior IT service management analyst, University of Southern California
