Welcome to Legal Services. Internet2’s Legal team provides legal advice and counsel to Internet2 on a wide range of complex and highly specialized legal issues affecting the research and education community.

Services

The Legal team provides a myriad of services. These include advising on compliance with federal and state laws and administrative regulations; evaluating and mitigating risk and liability; drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts; developing internal and external policies addressing numerous issues including privacy, anti-corruption, and business ethics; and supporting the Internet2 Board of Trustees. The Legal team also supervises the activities of outside counsel who may be used to assist with matters requiring specialized expertise. The Legal team does not provide legal representation or advice on any personal matters.
