A full day of hands-on work for the research-computing-and-data community, hosted by Internet2 Research Engagement and CaRCC. A few walk-in spots may be available; check in at our registration table to inquire. Two workshops run in parallel:
- CaRCC Capabilities Model workshop — helps RCD organizations assess and communicate what they can do. Led by Patrick Schmitz, Lauren Michael, and John Hicks.
- Building Onramps: Developing a Field Guide for New RCD Professionals — tackles a question the field keeps circling back to: how does someone actually enter the RCD profession? The group drafts a community guide to the careers, skills, and often-invisible paths into this work. Organized by Stephen Deems and Daphne McCanse.
