Exploring Clouds for Acceleration of Science Phase II Workshop
The E-CAS project seeks to explore how commercial cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform can be used to accelerate science through access to large scalable resources. It also highlights innovation enabled by flexible access to a range of platforms and the newest hardware. This Sept. 22 workshop highlights the achievements of the projects undertaken by the sub-awardees and discusses some of the benefits and challenges of using cloud platforms to support research.
