Meet TritonGPT, UC San Diego’s cutting-edge AI-powered platform. Tailored to meet the unique needs of the campus community, it provides instant answers to UC San Diego-specific questions, offers guidance on policies and procedures, aids in drafting job descriptions, streamlines contract redlining using UC San Diego’s rulesets, and much more.
Hosted securely at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, TritonGPT is a platform designed to democratize data access, enhance productivity, and facilitate informed decision-making across UC San Diego’s campus. It leverages advanced AI technology to simplify complex data interactions, including a custom-developed enterprise data agent (EDA) that empowers users to find answers retrieved from their enterprise data warehouse using natural language.
TritonGPT was our solution to a problem. It helped us do what higher education institutions are often challenged to do: transform vast amounts of institutional data into actionable insights. Your institution can do it too!

As an attendee, you’ll explore queries submitted to TritonGPT to better understand how the model works. We will also highlight UC San Diego’s collaborative efforts with fellow institutions such as UC Berkeley and San Diego State University, which are expanding TritonGPT’s capabilities and reach.
Through our journey, we’ve encountered real-world challenges, learned valuable lessons, and developed best practices that we’re eager to share.
