GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification Training
Build foundational cloud computing knowledge and cement that knowledge using hands-on labs to help you prepare for becoming a certified Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Professional Cloud Architect.
The current cohort will take place March 11 – May 17, 2024.
About the GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification Learning Pathway
Through a cohort-based approach, participants will build foundational cloud computing knowledge and cement that knowledge using hands-on labs to help prepare them for becoming a certified GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
The cohort-based learning experience provides an avenue for collaboration and helps facilitate discussion about the challenges and opportunities of using GCP at higher education institutions. Participants in the next cohort, March 11 – May 11, 2024, can expect to commit roughly 5–7 hours per week during the nine-week course and plan to participate in cohort activities, including weekly, virtual video check-in sessions.
To ensure an engaging learning environment, each cohort is limited to 15 participants. Registration for the program is first-come-first-served with a priority given to having as many institutions participate in each cohort as possible. Organizations can register multiple attendees.
Kenny Moore, virtualization and cloud administrator at the University of Michigan, will lead the training, which leverages training materials from Cloud Academy.
“The [Internet2 GCP Professional Cloud Architect Training] was very useful. I learned a lot from this training and understood more specifics about some of the GCP services.” —Kunalan Ratharanjan, research programmer, Indiana University
