NET+ Kajeet now makes it simple for higher education institutions to deploy a reliable, secure, and purpose-built network guaranteed to enhance wireless coverage on campus, increase data capacity, and decrease latency. The Kajeet Private 5G & Neutral Host Network is designed on an award-winning, next-generation, cloud-based platform custom-built to the unique needs of each community.

This new service was selected through a community-driven RFP process led by members of the Future Wireless Working group and vetted through a NET+ Service Evaluation process. The NET+ Kajeet contract eliminates procurement cycles and delivers a competitively bid customer agreement with best-practice terms for private wireless deployments for the higher education community.

NET+ Kajeet Program offers:

  • A common minimum discount for all subscribers, and support for a tiered pricing structure

  • Seamless integration with campus network infrastructure, including connectivity to the Internet2 Network

  • Stronger support and responsiveness via Internet2 escalation and advocacy channels

  • Early visibility into a technology roadmap and opportunities to pilot emerging wireless technologies and standards

  • Participation in benchmarking and shared implementation initiatives to inform institutional wireless strategy and best practices
